“Spoken Lyrics and Prose” Mix

Taking a break from my “80’s Album Cuts” mixes for a few weeks, and tonight I’ve put together a mix of some of my favourite tracks which put spoken lyrics and prose to the fore, creating a different listening experience. 

This mix weaves together spoken word pieces, and lyric-forward tracks that blur the line between music and monologue. Expect deep voices, whispered truths, existential musings, and the kind of lyrical intimacy that invites you to lean in closer. It’s for late-night thinkers, long train rides, rainy windows, and moments when silence needs a companion.
