Citizen-X
The Citizen-X mix show on GNet radio, hosted by Patrick Devaney, is his chance indulge others to the furthest corners of his personal music library. After starting the show, with the re-broadcast of a few mix shows that he had previously published on Mixcloud, Patrick has now branched out with a set of completely new mixes, such as the recently broadcast “Dialogue” mix, which includes sound bytes from such diverse sources as films “Chasing Amy” and “American Psycho”, as well as a mash up of Gabriel era Genesis (“The Voice Of Britain”)
Patrick’s mixes tend to use remixes,mash ups and edits from off the beaten track, tending to use fan generated tracks, rather than from more official sources for my “Eighites” and “Soundtracks And Soundscapes” mixes. He has also produced vol 1 and 2 of a Guernsey-centric “Sarnia Chill” mixes, focussing on some of the best chilled and ambient music from the local music scene.
